Sold individually, this Sanitaire ball bearing is a genuine OEM metal bearing for Vibragroomer I and Vibragroomer II brush rolls on Eureka and Sanitaire upright vacuums. Bearings are small parts with an outsized effect on how a vacuum sounds and cleans. A worn bearing makes the brush roll noisy and lets it rotate unevenly, and uneven rotation shows up as inconsistent carpet cleaning.
Fitting a fresh bearing restores smooth, quiet brush roll rotation and consistent agitation across the nozzle. Since both ends of a brush roll see the same hours of use, it is often worth checking the opposite bearing while you have the machine apart. This bearing is also catalogued as part number 90-3610-08.
