The Sanitaire SC5500A upright axle clamp is an OEM replacement part for Sanitaire, Eureka, and Electrolux-Eureka upright vacuums in the S5000 and SC5500 families. The clamp holds the wheel axle securely in position, and that small job matters more than it sounds: when axle hardware loosens or breaks, the vacuum stops rolling smoothly and every pass across the floor becomes more work.
If a wheel on your upright has developed play, wobbles, or has come off entirely, inspect the axle clamp before assuming the wheel itself is at fault. Replacing a failed clamp restores the easy rolling action the machine had when new and helps protect your floors in the process.
Compatible with Electrolux-Eureka S5000; Eureka S5000A, SC5500A, SC5500B, and SC5505A; and Sanitaire S5000A, SC5500A, SC5500B, and SC5505A.
