Part 903 is Envirocare's cut-to-fit filter media, supplied as a 3-ply sheet 7 inches by 8 inches and packaged two sheets to a box. Unlike a molded filter, it is not shaped for one machine; you size it yourself against the filter it is replacing.
Foam and felt filters eventually tear, thin out, or clog beyond what a rinse can fix, and once that happens suction drops while fine dust starts reaching the motor instead of being stopped ahead of it. Sheet media like this lets you rebuild that barrier right away instead of hunting down a model-specific part and waiting for it to arrive.
- Construction: 3-ply sheet, sized 7 by 8 inches, packaged as two sheets
- Use: lay the old filter on the sheet, trace its outline, and cut just inside the line so the new piece seats without binding
- Fits: any vacuum built around a foam or felt filter within this sheet's dimensions
- Tip: keep the old filter as a template for future cuts, and replace on the same interval you'd use for the original, sooner if it looks dirty or has gone thin
Because this is generic media rather than a manufacturer-specific part, take a careful measurement before cutting; a piece that is too small will not seal and one that is too large will not seat flush.
