Bearing Retainer Shield - Rainbow PN-2E / PN-2 Power Nozzle

The bearing retainer shield for the Rainbow PN-2E and PN-2 power nozzle (Part #R5593B) is a replacement end cap that secures the brush-roll bearing in place. It holds the bearing seated so the brush roll spins true. It replaces part #R5593.

A retainer that has cracked, loosened, or worn lets the brush roll wobble or shift during use, which throws off contact with the carpet and can chew at the surrounding parts. Left unchecked, the play accelerates bearing and belt wear. Fitting a sound shield keeps the brush roll aligned and spinning smoothly.
