The Electrolux geared belt (Part #26-3316-03) comes as a 2-pack of replacement belts for the PN5, Discovery upright, and EverClean power nozzles. A geared belt meshes with the drive rather than relying on friction, so it holds brush speed steady where a flat belt would slip. The set is also listed under alternate part #26-3315-02.

As a belt wears, the brush roller slows or stops turning, and without agitation dirt stays packed in the carpet fibers. A stretched or stripped belt also robs the machine of its deep-cleaning bite. Fitting a fresh geared belt returns full brush speed and thorough carpet agitation.
