The Dyson DC25 brushroll end cap (Part #10-3610-06) is a replacement cap for the DC25 bagless upright. It sits at the end of the brushroll and holds the roller square in its housing so the bristles spin true.
A missing or cracked end cap lets the brushroll drift out of alignment. The roller then contacts the carpet unevenly, runs noisily, and can wear the belt faster than normal. Fitting a fresh cap locks the brushroll back into position for even brush contact and quiet operation.
