This bottom plate (Part #10-7215-04) replaces a cracked plate on your Dyson DC25 and fits the DC25 bagless upright. It houses the brushroll and channels airflow across the carpet surface.
A cracked bottom plate exposes the DC25's brushroll and internal parts to damage and breaks the seal that builds strong suction at the carpet. With that seal gone, air leaks in and dirt pickup falls off even when the motor runs normally. A sound replacement plate protects the moving parts again and directs airflow for maximum pickup.
