Returns & Exchanges

SEBO's drawing headed AUTOMATIC X4 X5 shows the complete bag compartment as item 48. Ordered in graphite for the AUTOMATIC X4 Boost, that item is 5763GS, and it arrives with the bumper already mounted.

Whatever the machine lifts off the floor is held in this chamber, so the integrity of its seal is what keeps grit out of the motor. Hard knocks are the usual culprit — a fall, or the leading edge driven into a stair riser — and they either split the shell or break the catch. After that, some proportion of the air travels round the bag instead of through it: suction weakens at the head while fine dust migrates into the body of the machine. Since the bumper meets those impacts first, a torn or missing bumper is fair warning that the shell behind it has been loaded as well.
