This replacement drain cap seals the drain port on ProTeam ProGuard wet/dry vacuums and also replaces Ridgid part number 47922 for cross-compatibility. The cap closes off the drain so the tank holds liquid securely during wet pickup.
A cracked or missing drain cap lets water leak from the tank during wet operation, cutting the vacuum's ability to hold what it collects. Fitting a fresh cap restores a tight, dependable seal at the drain.
