This genuine Dirt Devil nozzle guard assembly (Part #440001594) fits the Dirt Devil UD20015, UD20020, and UD20025. The guard, which serves as the bottom plate over the nozzle, sets brush-roll clearance and helps direct airflow at the floor.

A cracked or warped bottom plate reduces suction at the nozzle and lets debris slip past instead of being drawn in. Installing the correct OEM guard restores proper clearance and the tight airflow the head needs to pick up dirt.
