This OEM Dirt Devil nozzle cover with rubber strip (Part #2LV1135600) fits the Dirt Devil 084590, 085850, UD40000, UD40005, UD40270, UD40285, and UD40350. The cover closes off the nozzle and its rubber strip helps seal the cleaning head against the floor.
When the cover cracks or the rubber strip hardens and wears, the nozzle loses its seal, suction drops at the floor, and debris can escape past the head. A fresh factory cover restores the seal and steady airflow across the nozzle.
