This OEM nozzle base (part #440004974) fits the Hoover CH53000 and Royal RY6500 commercial uprights. The base forms the sealed chamber at the floor where suction concentrates for maximum pickup, and it sets brushroll clearance.
A cracked or warped nozzle base reduces suction at the floor and lets debris escape the sealed path. Constant contact with the floor eventually wears or distorts the base. Replacing it restores proper airflow, correct brushroll clearance, and full dirt pickup.
