This OEM geared belt (Part #1912427600) fits Dirt Devil Platinum Force uprights in the C and D series only, measuring 5/16 inch wide. The cogged teeth mesh with the drive to spin the brush roll at the correct speed for effective carpet agitation.
A worn geared belt slips or slows, so the brush roll loses speed and carpet pickup drops. Because this belt is wider and smaller than the A and B series version, it will not fit those machines, so check your series letter first.
