The Dirt Devil Fork Bolt is an OEM fastener for Royal upright vacuum models, including the 089000 series. It secures the handle fork assembly to the body of the machine, a connection that takes constant stress every time the vacuum is pushed, pulled, or tilted back.
When this bolt loosens or goes missing, the handle develops a wobble that makes the vacuum unpleasant to steer and puts extra wear on the surrounding parts. Fitting the correct factory bolt restores a solid, rattle-free connection.
