This OEM foam filter measures 3.5 by 1.5 inches and fits the Dirt Devil CE7900 Platinum Force extractor along with the Royal RY7910 and RY7940. It traps larger particles before they reach the motor, protecting internal components and extending motor life.
A foam filter loads up, tears, and loses its spring with use, and a worn one lets debris slip toward the motor while restricting airflow. Checking it regularly and fitting a fresh filter keeps suction strong and the motor protected.
