These replacement flat belts (Part #3720310001) are Style 4 and 5 belts for the Dirt Devil Royal vacuum, including model 5235, and come two to a pack. Each belt keeps the brushroll turning for deep carpet agitation.
A stretched or broken belt stops the brushroll from spinning, which ends carpet agitation and leaves debris sitting in the pile. A fresh flat belt restores firm, consistent torque to the roll, and flat belts resist heat damage better than round belts.
