This replacement dirty water tank filter (Part #1660125000) fits the Dirt Devil Easy Steamer carpet cleaner. It screens debris out of the recovery stream so it does not clog the tank and internal plumbing.
When the filter blocks up, dirty water backs up instead of draining into the recovery tank, and the machine stops extracting properly. Carpets then stay wetter and take longer to dry. A clean filter keeps the recovery path clear so the cleaner pulls water back the way it should.
