The dirt cup kit assembly for the Sanitaire and Eureka SC887 12 inch upright vacuum is a complete replacement dust containment system for these bagless machines. Rather than piecing together individual components, the kit restores the entire cup assembly at once, which is the practical route when a cup has cracked or its fittings have worn.
On a bagless upright, the dirt cup is central to performance. It has to seal tightly to preserve suction and contain fine dust, and it gets handled at every emptying. Clean it regularly, and replace it once cracks or damage appear rather than waiting for leaks to spread dust back into the room.
