Driving the brush roll on Hoover Dial-A-Matic and Concept uprights, this replacement flat belt transfers power from the motor to the agitator. It keeps the brush turning for carpet cleaning.
A stretched or broken belt lets the brush roll slow or stop, so the vacuum glides without lifting embedded dirt. A fresh belt at proper tension returns the Hoover to full cleaning power.
