The crevice tool for the Readivac RH1000 Storm hand vacuum, part RH1000-P003, is the narrow attachment that concentrates the machine's suction into a thin stream for tight-space cleaning.
On a hand vacuum, a crevice tool is the piece most likely to go missing rather than wear out. It rides loose in a glove box or a kitchen drawer, and once it is gone the nozzle opening has nowhere to concentrate suction for gaps like window tracks, seat seams, and the narrow strip along a baseboard.
A cracked or loose fit where the tool meets the machine is the other common failure. Once that joint no longer seals, the tool draws air in at the connection instead of at the tip, which matters more on a small hand vacuum than on a full-size machine with airflow to spare.
