The Panasonic commercial nozzle housing (model MC-GG213) forms the lower body around the brush roll on this upright. The housing shields the brush roll and holds the air seal that concentrates suction at the floor.
Cracks or breaks in the nozzle housing open air leaks and expose the brush roll, and either one bleeds off suction so carpet and floors are left less clean. Impact damage tends to spread with use. Fitting the correct housing restores the sealed nozzle and full cleaning performance.
