This genuine Pedal Release comes with its axle but no spring and restores smooth handle-recline action to CleanMax and Titan T500 uprights. It also fits the Maytag M500, Riccar S10, R10P, and R10S, and Simplicity R10P and R10S, and it replaces part #B220-0714.

A broken or worn release makes it hard to recline the handle into vacuuming position, leaving the machine awkward to use. When the pedal cracks or the mechanism binds, the handle can stick upright.
