The Circuit Spring Unit for Kenmore canister vacuums is a 3-prong electrical contact assembly that carries power through the hose and wand to the power nozzle. Electrified hose systems depend on these small metal contacts, and when they wear or lose spring tension, the power nozzle cuts out intermittently or stops receiving electricity altogether.
