Product details
Part 19.1156-300 is the 120-volt charger built for Wessel Werk's battery-powered power nozzle, supplying mains current to top the nozzle's battery up between uses. Its output is specified for the pack in that nozzle rather than for cordless tools generally, so an adaptor borrowed from another device is not a substitute for it.
On cordless nozzles the failure point is almost always the cord jacket, not the internal electronics. Repeated flexing near the plug or where the cable enters the housing fatigues the copper strands inside insulation that can still look perfectly intact from the outside. The practical result is a nozzle that only takes a charge when the cord is bent just so, or one that stops accepting a charge no matter how it is positioned. A nozzle holding only a fraction of its former runtime points to the charger before it points to a worn-out battery.
Order the charger built for this nozzle rather than a close equivalent. Output voltage and current need to match the pack inside exactly, and an approximate substitute is one of the fastest ways to shorten the working life of a battery that had plenty of life left.
A charger that runs warm to the touch but never lets the indicator reach full is usually still delivering some current, just not enough to finish the job, and it is worth swapping before assuming the pack itself is done. If a known-good charger gives the same result, the fault sits in the battery pack rather than anywhere in the cord.
