Working height on a central vacuum is set by the wand rather than the hose, and part 6272CA is the SEBO telescopic tube built to sit between the hose handle and an ET power head. It extends to wherever your back is comfortable, locks there, and collapses again for the closet.
It fits the SEBO ET-1 and ET-2 power heads in both the switched and the unswitched builds. A wand carries the entire airstream from the head up to the hose, so its condition matters more than its appearance suggests. A dented tube leaks air along its length, a tired locking collar creeps shorter under the weight of the head, and a scored joint bleeds off suction quietly for as long as the machine runs.
What owners describe is weak pickup at the floor with a motor that sounds perfectly healthy, and the wand is one of the first things worth ruling out. Fitting a sound tube puts the seal back across the full run from head to hose, and the head starts lifting what it should again.
