This 90-degree metal spigot elbow is a 2 inch central vacuum fitting used to turn piping at right angles. The spigot design allows glue-free connections to standard PVC fittings, which keeps installation clean and makes future service far simpler than fully cemented joints would allow.
The choice of metal here is deliberate. Debris traveling through a central vacuum system moves fast, and it hits hardest at the turns. Over years of use that concentrated wear can eat into a plastic elbow from the inside, while a metal elbow in the same spot simply shrugs it off.
Part 1193 is compatible with standard 2 inch central vacuum systems, including HP Products and compatible brands. It suits new installations as well as targeted repairs where a worn elbow at a high-wear turn needs a more durable replacement.
