This foot pedal fits the Cen-Tec CT14, CT16, and CT18DX power nozzles, including the CT14DXQD. Pressing the pedal operates the nozzle's brush roll engagement, letting you switch between carpet and bare-floor modes without bending down.
A cracked or broken pedal makes it hard to toggle the brush roll, so you lose the quick change between carpet and hard floors mid-clean. A fresh pedal restores that foot-operated control, keeping mode changes fast and the power nozzle easy to run.
