This replacement carbon motor brush (Part #30478) fits Eureka and Sanitaire upright motors, including the Eureka 246, 260, 360, 2000, and 2010 series. Carbon brushes ride against the motor commutator to carry the electrical contact the motor needs to run.
Carbon brushes wear down with use, and once they are worn you may notice sparking near the motor, reduced suction, a burning smell, or intermittent power. Replacing worn brushes promptly restores steady motor contact and prevents further damage to the commutator.
