The Carpet Pro SC412 socket assembly is the electrical connection point for the Sanitaire SCBP1.2 backpack vacuum's power circuit. When a backpack vacuum begins cutting out, refuses to power on, or only runs when the cord is held at a certain angle, the fault frequently traces back to this junction rather than to the motor itself.
