Product details
Part 33860 is the complete shoulder-and-waist harness rig built for the new-style SCBP1.2 configuration of the Carpet Pro SCBP1 backpack, the piece an operator actually wears against their body for the length of a shift.
Thousands of on-off cycles stretch the webbing, flatten the shoulder and lumbar padding, and loosen the points where the straps attach to the frame. Once that has happened the pack no longer rides centered and high, so weight migrates down onto the shoulders and lower back instead of the hips, showing up as end-of-shift soreness well before anything actually tears open. A buckle that no longer clicks fully shut is usually the clearest early warning, since it lets the whole rig shift under load even while the webbing still looks fine.
Swapping in a fresh harness puts the weight back where the frame is designed to carry it, on the hips rather than the shoulders. This is the new-style harness, so confirm your machine is the SCBP1.2 configuration before ordering rather than assuming both styles match; the model designation on the machine's rating label is the quick way to check.
This is also a good moment to inspect the back plate underneath the harness, since a plate already cracked at its anchor points will chew through a brand new harness at the exact same spots.
