Product details
Part B352-1300 is the housing that carries the motor's thermal reset button on a Carpet Pro SCBP1 or SCBP1.2 backpack. This is the control an operator uses to restore power once the motor has cooled down from an overload trip.
Commercial use wears this component out through sheer repetition: hundreds of presses, knocks against doorframes and furniture, and the machine set down hard on tile or concrete with the harness still attached. A housing that has taken enough of that will show a button stuck partway in rather than popping fully out, cracking around the button bore, or a reset that clicks but will not stay latched. Any of those leaves a working vacuum sitting idle because of one small failed part.
It ships whole rather than as a bare button, so the fix is a housing swap rather than repairing individual pieces inside it. If the machine keeps tripping even with a fresh reset installed, look at the filters and the hose path before blaming the switch again, since a genuinely restricted airway will pop a brand new reset just as reliably as it popped the old one.
Disconnect the vacuum from power before opening the housing to reach it, and once the replacement is fitted, run the machine under a light load for a few minutes to confirm the latch holds before sending it back into the rotation.
