This OEM carbon brush set (Part #833474-50) is made for Electrolux Diamond Edition and Plastic Models canister vacuum motors and ships as a two-pack. It replaces part numbers 101-4, EXR-6335, and EXR6335. The brushes feed current to the motor armature as it spins.
Worn brushes reveal themselves through sparking at the motor, reduced suction, intermittent power, or a burning smell. Changing them before they wear too far protects the commutator and keeps the motor running strong.
