This OEM carbon brush set (Part #833392-64) is made for Ametek Lamb 5.7-inch, 120-volt motors in the wide carbon configuration and replaces part numbers 135022, 33306, and 833306-50. The brushes carry current to the motor armature and wear down with normal use.
Sparking at the motor, reduced suction, intermittent power, or a burning smell signal that the brushes have worn short and need replacing before the commutator is damaged. A fresh pair restores steady power to the motor.
