Order code 5768GS covers the cord-storage group on a SEBO AUTOMATIC X4 Boost in gray black. Three components come under it: cable hook 5703GS, carrying handle 5721 and stop spring 5146. SEBO places those three in consecutive positions on its exploded view for a reason — they are one arrangement, not three unrelated fittings.

The spring is usually the first to let go, and it does so by degrees rather than breaking. Its job is to resist the outward pull that a wound cord applies for the entire time the machine is stored, and as tension fades the symptoms creep up: an extra turn needed to make the cord sit, then a firm push required, then wraps on the floor as soon as the vacuum is lifted.
