This OEM carbon brush set fits Electro Motor two-stage bypass vacuum motors rated 120V, and it ships as a two-pack. The brushes ride against the motor commutator to carry current to the spinning armature.

Carbon brushes are wear items that shorten with use, and once they run down the motor loses power, arcs, or stops, which can score the commutator. Replacing them as a set before they reach their limit protects the motor and keeps it at full power. These brushes are not compatible with Ametek Lamb motors.
