This replacement brush rotor (part #A004VBE0) fits the Sharp EC-TU4700 series and is cataloged as Sharp A004VB. Mounted in the nozzle, it carries the bristles that agitate carpet fibers and pull debris toward the suction inlet.
Bristles that are worn flat, along with a bent or scored rotor, reduce cleaning on carpet and can cause knocking or squealing as the roller turns. A new brush rotor restores firm agitation and quiet, even operation.
