Matching the white bodywork of the AUTOMATIC X7 Premium, 52034WE is the white release knob for the right-hand end of the brush roller. SEBO lists it at position 122 on its exploded view of the head, alongside the gray black version of the same knob.

Its job is to hold and to free the roller. A worn or cracked example makes roller removal unreliable, and roller removal is the one piece of maintenance these uprights ask of their owners on a regular basis, because hair and carpet fibre band around the roller ends and have to come off before they reach the bearings. Fitting the correct white button keeps both the mechanism and the finish original, and it costs a fraction of what a complete cleaning head does.

What ships is the knob alone. The release ring and its spring, which give the mechanism its detent and its tension, are a separate item, and it is the ring rather than the knob that is usually at fault when a roller drops out on its own. Check both before deciding which one to order, and note that the part is handed to the right-hand end of the head.

Turn the knob to its release position before pulling, rather than levering the roller against a locked catch, which is how most of these get broken in the first place.
