This replacement brush roll fits the Kenmore BU4022 and BU4023 bagged Intuition uprights and the Kenmore 3421. As the roller turns, its bristles agitate carpet fibers to loosen embedded dirt and debris so the airflow can carry it away for a deeper clean.
