This replacement brush roll fits the Eureka CV390 power nozzle, model 3407. Spinning across the carpet, the roll's bristles agitate the fibers to release embedded dirt so the central vacuum's airflow can carry it away.
Frayed or shortened bristles stop making consistent contact with the carpet, and deep-cleaning drops off even while suction holds. Uneven rotation and heavy hair wrap are common signs. A fresh brush roll returns full, even agitation.
