The brush holder (part #430001169) is a replacement component for the Orbiter floor machine and ships with its mounting screws. It clamps the machine's brushes in position so they stay seated and turn evenly against the floor.
Under the constant load of scrubbing and polishing, brush holders loosen, crack, or wear at the screw points. A failing holder lets the brushes shift, chatter, or come free, which spoils even floor contact and can damage nearby parts.
