The Kenmore brush cover (Part #KC01QDDUZV06) is a replacement cover for the brush-roll area of Kenmore power nozzles. It closes over the agitator compartment, holding the brush roll in place and shielding it from stray thread and debris.
A brush cover that is cracked or missing leaves the roll exposed, lets it work loose, and allows hair and string to wrap the bearings. That reduces agitation on carpet and can stall the brush. A fresh cover re-secures the roll and keeps the nozzle cleaning evenly.
