This Bottom Plate for Sanitaire and Eureka 16-inch Wide Track commercial upright vacuums is the structural plate that closes the underside of the nozzle. It maintains proper brush roll clearance from the floor, so its condition has a direct effect on how well the machine cleans carpet.
Commercial vacuums lead hard lives, and bottom plates crack and warp from impacts and years of daily use. When that happens, brush roll clearance drifts and cleaning performance drops with it. Fitting a new plate restores the structural integrity and nozzle function the machine was designed around.
Compatibility includes the Sanitaire SC899D and SC899E-1 as well as Eureka 16-inch Wide Track models. For janitorial operations running these wide-track commercial uprights, this is a practical wear part to keep on the shelf.
