Fitting the 6210, this replacement Panasonic rear bottom plate gasket (part #AMC74A-V30) runs along the back of the bottom plate and seals the trailing edge of the nozzle's suction chamber.
A dried or torn rear gasket lets air leak in behind the brush roll, and that leak weakens suction across the whole nozzle. Cracked rubber can also let dust escape at the seam. Fresh gasket material closes the rear seal so the nozzle holds its pickup.
