Black cherry is one of the finishes SEBO uses for the AIRBELT D1 Turbo, and this is the lower shell in that color. It is not a bare molding: the casing comes as a serviceable unit with the complete castor set 8086GS and the post-motor filter seal 8065ER already accounted for. Part number 8001SRER.
The underside of a canister has the hardest life of any panel on the machine. It gets dragged over thresholds, towed upstairs by the hose, parked on grit and scraped along baseboards, so cracks radiating from the castor mounts and a gasket that has gone hard and taken a permanent set are both ordinary findings on a machine with years behind it. A canister that rocks, sits at an angle, drops a wheel or hisses at the exhaust is describing one of those two failures.
SEBO's AIRBELT D exploded drawing lays the area out clearly. The bottom casing occupies position 1, with the castor set at position 2 and the seal at position 3, where the drawing labels it as the microfilter seal. The holder that clamps the post-motor filter down sits alongside at position 5 as 8084ER, and the filters themselves are supplied as Filter Set D, part 8191AM, which brings one microfilter and one exhaust microfilter. Grouping the shell, the wheels and the seal in a single order deals with the parts that wear together in one visit.
