This genuine OEM water tank comes with its cap and insert for the Bissell 1940 PowerFresh steam mop. It fits the 1940, 19402, 19404, 19408, 19409, 1940A, 1940F, 1940Q, 1940T, 1940W, B0006, and B0017. The tank holds and feeds water to the steam system.
Tanks and their seals crack, warp, or deform with heat and handling, which leads to leaks or a mop that will not hold water. A compromised tank drips onto the floor and starves the boiler. A sound tank with fresh gaskets keeps water where it belongs.
