The Bissell ProHeat belt set (Part #18-3301-00) is a replacement pair for Bissell ProHeat carpet cleaners, with one flat belt and one geared belt in the kit. The two belts work together to drive the brush roll at the correct speed for shampooing carpet.
When either belt wears, the brush roll turns slowly or stalls, and the machine leaves carpets half-cleaned because the brushes cannot work the cleaning solution into the fibers. Replacing both belts as a set keeps the drive matched so the brush roll runs at its designed speed again.
