Bissell Nozzle Motor - 1785...

Product details

The nozzle motor is the small 120V motor buried in the cleaning foot of the Bissell CrossWave 1785, and it is the part that turns the brush roll while the machine washes sealed hard floors and area rugs. Bissell lists it as part 1609663, supplied as a motor assembly with its PCBA lead wire and drive belt.

When it dies the machine still sprays and still pulls, but the roller stops. Spin the spindle on the back of the motor by hand: if it is frozen or notchy, nothing downstream will turn. A hum from the foot with no rotation, or a hot electrical smell, points the same way.

It fits the CrossWave 1785 family, including 17852, 17858, 17859, 1785A, 1785F and 1785G, and the 2306. Clear the hair off the old brush roll before the new motor goes in, so it is not fighting a tangled roller from the first minute.
