This OEM-specification height adjustment knob sets the floor level on the Bissell 3510 and 3510K, part of the Singer SB/HB series. Turning it positions the brush roll at the right height for the surface you are cleaning.
Set too high, the brush roll cannot reach embedded dirt; set too low, the vacuum is hard to push and can damage the roll or carpet. A cracked or stripped knob makes accurate setting impossible. A fresh knob restores precise height control.
