This replacement height adjustment knob (Part #3133724) fits the Bissell 3540 upright. The knob is the control you turn to raise or lower the cleaning head to match different carpet pile heights.
A cracked or stripped knob can spin without moving the head, leaving you stuck at one height, either too high to reach embedded dirt or too low to push easily. A sound knob restores control over the head position so the brush roll sits at the right depth for each surface.
