This OEM foam pre-motor filter fits the Bissell 7700 Big Green and sits between the collected debris and the motor. It catches fine particles that other filters miss before they can reach the motor.
Foam degrades with use and can collapse under suction as it ages, blocking airflow and reducing cleaning power. You can rinse it in cool water and dry it fully between changes, but plan to replace it every six to twelve months.
